The National Capital Art Glass Guild

Potomac Craftsmen was founded in 1944 by a small group of Washington area weavers. Since then, it has expanded to include other CRAFTSM;DN fiber arts Its purpose IS to promote excellence in design and fine craftsmanship. Additionally, it aims to provide educational opportunities for its members and the general public in order to further their skills and appreciation of the fiber arts.

This is accomplished in part through guest speakers, workshops, the Potomac Craftsmen Gallery, the Potomac Craftsmen Biennial Exhibition, a growing fiber arts library, its traveling fiber exhibit and association with various guilds, museums, and artists around the world.
