Benefits to Participating Guilds

• Outreach funds: grants have made funds available for community activities
• Gathering of the Guilds and other outreach opportunities
• Access to Fairfax Council of the Arts: advertising, Corp. Art Program, Washington Technology Park, mailing lists, Arts Fax, etc.
• Networking with other Artists and patrons
• Joint shows in the Craft Gallery of AU including an option of opening day reception and including the AU mailing list. Always have good sales with an advertised opening. Also other exhibit opportunities.
• Publicity for guild activities
• Stipends for demonstrators who do community outreach in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, etc.
• Programs for crafters/business
• Using the Packard Center address
• Individuals who belong to an AU member guild do not pay a membership fee when juried into the Craft Gallery
• A shelf in AU office
