The Craft Gallery of Artisans United Presents The Clay Conection: Reception July 22 and Exhibition of Ceramic Pieces by Local Artists

Northern Virginia — The Artisans United Craft Gallery is currently featuring the best in ceramic pieces from The Clay Connection, from July 7, to September 6in a year-round contemporary and traditional craft exhibit and sale. Clay can be so many colors, shapes and sizes, and during this 2 month show you’ll see the diversity that this talented guild produces!

Mondays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. B four dozen-plus juried artisans will be showing and selling handmade and decorated pieces including pottery, baskets, glass, porcelain, wearables, photography, cards, polymer clay, watercolors, and more. On any given day, the artisans at the gallery will be demonstrating their work as they sit at the gallery and answer questions. We are also pleased to announce an open house at the Gallery on July 22 from 10 am -5 pm by the Clay Connection to showcase the beauty of their pieces.

The Craft Gallery features contemporary and traditional crafts of approximately 50 juried artists, and is in the Packard Center in Annandale Community Park near the Hidden Oaks Nature Center.

Artisans United, Inc, is a nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to preserve, promote and develop the disciplines of visual arts and crafts. To this end, Artisans United provides a creative forum where craftspeople may exchange ideas, experiences and materials; offers instruction in the arts and crafts and provides public service programs for groups or institutions; supports worthy community arts and crafts programs through material and financial contributions; provides opportunities for individual member organizations to demonstrate their crafts and sell their products to the public; and serves as a community resource.
