Artist Statement

The art of knitting was brought to me by a friendly neighbor who taught me how to knit when I was six years old and I have been enjoying this wonderful craft ever since.

As a juried member of Artisans United I participate in bi-monthly craft shows. My lovingly handmade scarves, mittens, hats, blankets for babies, gifts for children and adults, purses, decorative pillows and a lot more are available for purchase locally at The Craft Gallery of Artisans United in the Fred M. Packard Center in Annandale in Virginia and in my online store "Scarves by Sharon" on Etsy.
